Isolated lightning storms are forecast across east central Florida today. The main threats with any developing storms will be cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, gusty winds, and brief heavy downpours. .RIP CURRENT IMPACT... There is a moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents at all central Florida Atlantic beaches today. Always swim within sight of a lifeguard, and never swim alone. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY. A limited risk for excessive heat returns late week into the weekend as temperatures climb into the 90s with heat indices reaching the low to mid 100s. At least a moderate risk for rip currents will exist into mid week. Building high pressure and increasing temperatures will promote sensitive fire conditions across the interior from Thursday into late week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
